Placing chemical products (single substance or mixtures of chemicals) onto the market requires the seller to provide written information of the hazards and risks of the substances, this is normally provided for in the form of a Safety Data Sheet (commonly refered to as SDS). Who Needs It and Why:
All suppliers of chemicals are legally required to supply a SDS with their chemicals on first supply, and provide updates thereafter. SDS must also be retained for two years after the final sale of the product.
